Sibling Class

This class is designed to help children ages three to ten prepare for a new baby’s arrival and to reassure them that they are special. Class is held from 10-11 a.m. on various Saturdays throughout the year.

Siblings may be excited about the new baby, but they are also apprehensive and uncertain. The new baby might be fun, but he or she is also going to take attention away from the big brother or sister.

The prospective parents are asked to join their children as they learn how to diaper, hold and burp a baby. The class also includes valuable suggestions for the parents on how to ease the child’s adjustment to a new baby.

The fee for the class is $5 per family. Registration is required.
